GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani strongly condemned the terror blast which happened on Budaiya highway in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Monday and in which a number of police officers were injured.
He expressed strong denunciation of the cowardly terror act that contravenes all humanitarian and moral values and principles. He also voiced utter confidence in the security bodies of the Interior Ministry in Bahrain to uncover the circumstances of the terrorist crime and the parties standing behind it as well as bring the perpetrators to justice.

The GCC Secretary General affirmed that such despicable terrorist crimes which are targeting Bahrain’s security and stability will never affect determination of the Bahraini people and their national unity. He wished the injured security officers a speedy recovery.
