The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) denounced the savage attack that left more 72 people dead and over 300 wounded in the Pakistani city of Lahore on Sunday.
In a statement, OIC chief Iyad Madani expressed his deepest condolences with the families of the victims who were celebrating Sunday Easter at Lahore's Gulshan Iqbal Park.
He wished speedy recovery to all wounded.
He underlined the importance of garnering all international efforts to fight terrorism, calling for bringing to accountability all sides responsible for these inhumane acts.
He reiterated the right of all minorities to exercise their rituals peacefully and safely.
He said he will call on the International Islamic Fiqh Academy to hold an extraordinary session to criminalize the side that claimed responsibility for these attacks.
Taliban has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack on Easter Sunday, saying it intentionally targeted Christians.
