Mufti of the Republic Shawky Allam on Tuesday denounced the terrorist attack that left Russian ambassador in Ankara Andrey Karlov dead on Monday.

In a released statement, he strongly condemned all forms of terrorism, asserting that Islamic law rejects terrorism everywhere.

He further noted that terrorism is not associated with any religion.

Such terrorist acts contradict all teachings and tenets of Islam, he added, urging the international community to square up for uprooting terrorism.
