MP Margret Azer has condemned the heinous terrorist attack that targeted policemen in Helwan, killing eight of them while on duty.

Azer, in a statement Monday, condoled with families of the victims and urged the Egyptian people to unite behind the police, whom she called "heroes" protecting the homeland.

She stressed the importance of countering terrorism, which has no religion or country.
