Egypt on Friday condemned the terrorist attack that hit a restaurant in the Somali capital of Mogadishu.
In a statement, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid deplored the attacks that killed at least 19 people, reiterating support to the Somali people and the government.
The spokesman expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
A group of gunmen had approached a restaurant in the capital city before they opened fire on diners.
Al Shabab militant group said it was behind the attack.
