Bahrain has condemned the recent “terrorist bombings that took place in Baghdad, killing and injuring tens of innocent people.”
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to the Iraqi government and to the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to those injured in these terrorist acts that are contrary to all religious principles and human values and aim to shake security and stability,” a statement issued by the ministry said.

“Bahrain’s support to the brotherly Republic of Iraq in facing all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and backs its distinguished efforts in providing peace for all citizens. The ministry reiterates Bahrain’s position in rejection of terrorism, irrespective of its justifications or motives and calls for the need to join efforts to combat this dangerous phenomenon and drain its sources of funding.”
