Algeria strongly condemned the savage terrorist attack that hit the Pakistani city of Lahore and left 72 people dead and over 300 others wounded.

"Algeria strongly condemns this attack that targeted people while celebrating a religious holiday," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement Monday.

It called for rallying international efforts to fight this misled group that is spreading panic all over the world.

It expressed full solidarity with Pakistani people and government over the victims of the attack.
