Bahrain Council of Representatives, in its today’s statement, strongly condemned the Israel’s closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement said the closure is in violation of divine religions and human values, it is also a crime against the Palestinian people, as Al-Aqsa Mosque, for the first time since 1969, was closed to public and Palestinian worshippers have been banned from performing their prayers there.
It said this blatant violation is likely to escalate the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in Al-Quds. It rejected the Israeli policies of oppression, discrimination and repression against the Palestinians.
It called on the international community to shoulder its legal and human responsibility to halt the Israeli violations and repressive and arbitrary measures against Palestinian people.
