London - Arab Today
Sampling of features on Chairish mobile app London - Arab Today Vintage design lovers can now source high-end furniture on the move, thanks to a new mobile app by Chairish. The online US marketplace, which allows users to buy and sell curator-approved interiors, released the free app this week. Currently only available on iOS7, the company plans to adapt the map and make it available to Android users in 2014. Although design marketplace apps for Etsy, FleaPop and of course eBay already exist, Chairish is being promoted as the first app dealing uniquely with curated, vintage home furnishings. The app's interface lets shoppers search for, buy and arrange delivery for home furnishings depending on product category, city or style. As Anna Brockway, Chairish Co-Founder and Chief Curator puts it: "Shopping for home finds is so much more fun in your bathrobe with a cocktail than fighting the early morning flea market free-for-all." Chairish was founded in 2013 by Anna and Gregg Brockway, a co-founder of travel planning startup TripIt, along with other former TripIt team members. The Chairish mobile app is now available from the iTunes App Store. Source: Relaxnews
