Tunisian anchor Zainab al-Maliki said that her beginning was in Express FM radio station, as an economic programs presenter, being specialized in marketing. This experience lasted for five years, and then moved to IFM radio station, and two years later she moved to Al Arabi TV channel.
Al-Maliki added, in an exclusive interview with Arabs Today, that working as a TV presenter requires a lot of passion and many sacrifices, and eventually you will forget everything once achieves success.
She expressed her happiness with her experience in Al Arabi TV channel, through her program Women of Gold, as she learnt many new things and met successful figures.
Women of gold program deals with the stories of successful women, mainly Tunisians, such as Dora Bo Shusha, Yousra Zekri, Fatima Saidan, Aya Seif, and others.
Al-Maliki revealed that she considers Lebanese presenter Giselle Khoury, who presents Al-Mashad program (The Scene) on BBC Arabic, as her model in this career. She is also influenced by Egyptian Mona Shazly and Oprah Winfrey.
