She was filming the Russian mother as she smashed into a lamp post while

Two vacationing friends were driving back from a beach in Dominican Republic. One of them decided to go topless and hanged out of the car window as the other clicked her video on her mobile. Suddenly, the Russian 35-year-old Natalia Borodina - a mother of a 10-year-old boy - who was flaunting her body hit her head on a road sign and died.

Her 32-year-old companion Ivanna Boirachuk - from Ukraine - who was filming her, has been detained by police on suspicion of drunk driving.

In the video, Natalia can be seen in a playful mood and laughing at the camera, before tragedy strikes.

She died of severe injuries, the Daily Mail reported.

Her friends are in utter shock and grief, dubbing Natalia as a caring daughter and a good mother.

Natalia's friend Elena Korolyova reportedly said the dead woman did not deserve to be judged by her reckless behaviour that led to her death. "She helped her poor family with everything," she said. "She wanted to get everything, she was hoping for a better future. And anyone can make a mistake, why should we judge her by just one video? Are we all saints?"

Anastasiya Akulenko, another friend, pointed out, "She was successful; she earned well, and could afford a good holiday. Recently, she lived in Cannes and was sorting out visas as a business."

Natalia has a sister Yulia, who lives with their 80-year-old mother. Yulia has a son and she will now take care of her dead sister's son.

However, Natalia's family is too poor to afford repatriating her body for burial in Russia - which will cost £15,000, Mailonline reports. She did not have insurance when she flew on her holiday. With no money for transportation, she might have to be cremated in Dominican Republic.
