The owner built it to block his brother's property's sea view.

A man in Beirut pushed the sibling rivalry envelope too far when he built a building just to block the sea view from his brother's house.

Two brothers in Lebanon are in conflict over the plot they inherited from their father, and are leaving no stone unturned to annoy each other. The dispute became public after one of the brothers built the thinnest building block just to obstruct the beautiful view of the Mediterranean!

A Twitter user recently posted a picture of the thinnest building in Beirut and put up a caption: "The Grudge Building in Manara is Beirut's thinnest building," according to reports in The Indian Express.

According to a local blog, the building was named Al Ba'sa (in Arabic) which means The Grudge in English. The structure was built to block and devalue the other brother's plot.

The tweet showing pictures of the building created quite a buzz on the internet with people sharing more pictures of such 'spite buildings' from across the world.
