Agitated over his wife using a mobile phone without his consent, a man in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, chopped off her hair and beat her up.

According to Dawn, the man and his three brothers warned her against using the mobile phone again and beat her up while her husband sheared off her tresses.

Police sources were quotes saying that the incident happened on Tuesday and the man and his brothers have been arrested after the woman filed a complaint against them all.

Recounting the horrific incident, the woman told police that while she using the mobile phone, her husband arrived home in Gulzar-e-Quaid area in Rawalpindi and became angry on seeing this.

She added that he began to thrash her along with his brothers, who were also present at the scene, and threatened her with dire consequences.
