Several hundred Wall Street protesters marched through downtown Denver for an eighth consecutive Saturday and stopped at the state Capitol for a rally. About 300 people cheered speakers who called for single-payer health care or related personal stories of economic hardship. Police escorted the marchers along city streets and state troopers spread out across the Capitol steps. The crowd was a mix of retirees, professionals, unemployed workers and students. On Thursday, boisterous but peaceful Occupy Denver protesters marched through downtown chanting \"We are the 99 percent\" and bringing traffic to a halt.
