Two Police officers, on Wednesday, were injured during a police raid to arrest a wanted man in a felony of armed robbery in Jabal Al Taj, in eastern Amman, a Public Security Department (PSD) statement said.

The statement added that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel while carrying out the operation to arrest the wanted, he began shooting towards the police, before being arrested, and injured two officers.

It said the injured officers were administered first aid, where they were listed in a moderate condition.
