Philippines were killed Thursday when an air force helicopter crashed

Three soldiers in the Philippines were killed Thursday when an air force helicopter crashed during a military training exercise, a military spokesman said.
One other soldier was injured in the accident that occurred in the town of Tanay, 38 kilometres east of Manila, according to army Lieutenant Xy-Zon Meneses.
The victims were among 60 soldiers and 12 policemen who were participating in an air-to-ground rescue operations exercise in Tanay, Meneses was reported by German press agency (dpa) as saying.
The military grounded all helicopters participating in the training pending an investigation into the accident, according to air force spokesman Colonel Antonio Francisco.
