When passengers in a Ukraine-bound flight - ready to take off from Turkey - saw liquid gushing out of the Airbus A321's wings, most of them thought the plane was getting rid of "excessive fuel". One even believed that it could be the water from the on-board toilets.
It was only later when they see a fire engine do they realise the gravity of the situation and press the panic button. What follows is screams in terror.
The airline crew urges them to stay calm. For 30 minutes, the passengers stay in the plane before being taken off it.
All 220 passengers spent the rest of the day at the terminal awaiting their departure to Ukraine, says a Mirror report.
They took the same jet in the evening. On the second attempt, the jet did not have any trouble with the fuel, the report adds.
Earlier, the moment of liquid spraying from one of the plane's wings and forming a pool on the runway was captured on video by one of the passengers on board. As the plane continues to move, the puddle of the transparent liquid can be seen getting larger.
It is after a while that a fire engine heads towards the jet and begins using an extinguisher on the wing. This is when the passengers unleash their fear.
