Two brothers, one of them physically disabled, were assassinated Saturday in a house near San Pedro Sula by gang members, according to local police.
The killers entered a house in the neighborhood of La Pradera and shot dead two brothers, Robert Danilo Isaula, 14, and Melvin Jonathan Isaula, 21, who was physically disabled.
Two other people who were in the house at the time were wounded in the attack.
After the crime, the police began a broad search and tracked two cars which the killers were driving. One of the cars was found overturned by the side of the road.
Three men were arrested, with one being identified as Kent Roland Sambula, 26, known as "El Cruel", Jonathan Amilcar Davila Sanchez, while the other two were 16 years old. The police also found AR-15 assault rifles on board, ammunition, binoculars, a balaclava and chargers.
According to data of the Observatory of Violence in Honduras, there is an average of 14 murders a day in the Latin American country of 8 million people.
