At least seven laborers were killed and scores of others were left stranded when a coalmine collapsed on Saturday in Pakistan, Daily Pakistan reported.
The mine is located in Lower Orakzai area.
According to rescue sources, 65 laborers were inside the mine when it collapsed due to torrential rains.
Speaking to media in Peshawar, PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai confirmed the death of at least seven miners in the mishap.
“Ten injured miners have also been rescued and shifted to hospitals,” he said.
