9 people were killed and over 10 injured when part of an under-construction building collapsed in Balewadi in Pune, north Indian state of Maharashtra on Friday. 
Around 13 workers were on the site when the incident happened. The accident happened after a slab from the fourteenth floor collapsed killing people, Times of India reported. 
Some of the construction workers are believed to be trapped under the debris. Rescue operations have reportedly been launched.
