All five people abroad a small plane were killed in a crash in Hawaii on Monday.
The skydiving tour plane got burned while taking off in Hanapepe of Kauai island. County officials said four people were pronounced dead at the scene and one man died in hospital.
The single-engine Cessna 182H, which can carry four passengers and a pilot, crashed at Port Allen Airport at about 9:30 a.m. (1930 GMT), Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration, was quoted by Honolulu Star newspaper as saying.
The pilot, two skydiving instructors and two tandem jumpers were in the plane at the time of the crash.
The Kauai crash was the first of two plane accidents in Hawaii on Monday. A small plane with two people aboard reportedly crashed in the waters off Makaha later Monday. No major injuries were reported in that crash.
