In a shocking discovery, as many as 13 decomposed bodies of Egyptian men and their passports were found in a Libyan desert recently, a report published in Al Arabiya English said.

These bodies of illegal Egyptian migrants were spotted near Jaghbub Oasis, south of Tobruk, Alwasat news website said.

On receiving information that there are bodies in northwest of the Jaghbub Oasis, military patrols carried out combing operation and found 13 bodies, a military source revealed.

He also said that all 13 men were buried according to Islamic law as the bodies were semi-decomposed. The Libyan Red Crescent and authorities concerned in Tobruk have taken samples from the bodies and will inform the families of the dead, he added.
