Kaka while visiting a mosque Dubai - Arabstoday The international soccer player Recardo Kaka intends to read more about Arabs and Muslims after his 10-day visit to Dubai, the emirate’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) reported. The Brazilian superstar and Real Madrid midfielder was hosted by DTCM in attempt to attract more tourists. The 29-year-old midfielder won the best soccer player award in 2007 and another one in 2009 for being the best continental championships’ player. While visiting a mosque especially created for tourists wanting to know more about Islam, the mega star listened to introductions on the general lifestyle of Muslims and Arabs. Kaka who joined Real Madrid in a lucrative 65 million euros deal also visited the world’s tallest tower, Burj Khalifa and went on an aerial tour to view the man-made structure in the emirate, including The Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab and Jebel Ali Port, according to a report in Emirates 24/7 online. “Dubai is a wonderful city and one of the nicest in the world. I am honored to be here for the family holiday. I thank the DTCM for the wonderful opportunity given to me to visit the emirate. I am overwhelmed with the hospitality I enjoyed here and we plan to come again to Dubai soon,” the e-paper quoted him as saying.
