Al-Ahly striker Mohamed Aboutrika Cairo - Akram Ali Al-Ahly striker Mohamed Aboutrika scored the winning goal as the Egyptian side beat Sanfrecce Hiroshima to qualify for the semi-finals of the Club World Cup. The 34-year came on as a substitute for injured captain Hossam Ghaly at half-time and led Ahly to victory, drilling home 12 minutes into the half. Earlier, Al-Said Hamdi gave Ahly a 15th minute lead, which was cancelled out by Hisato Sato at the Toyota Stadium. Hossam Al-Badry's side will face Brazilian side Corinthians in the first semi-final on Wednesday. Before the game, Aboutrika told Japanese television, that the team is motivated to honour those killed in the Port Said disaster by doing well in the tournament. He praised the fighting spirit of his teammates in recent matches, especially the final of the African Champions league, adding that such a spirit could lead them to victory again. In Sunday's other match, Mexico’s Monterrey beat South Korean team Ulsan Hyundai 3-1, to set up a meeting with English Champions League winners Chelsea.
