A Palestinian young man was killed by the Israeli troops for allegedly attempting to stab Israeli soldiers in West Bank's Hebron.

Another Palestinian was wounded at one of the checkpoints at the West Bank, Sky News quoted the Israeli police as saying on Monday.

The soldiers shot the two Palestinian young men near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

For her part, the Israeli police spokesperson said that a soldier was slightly injured before another soldier shot the two Palestinian youth.
