Israeli troops

Tens of thousands of the eastern Christians on Friday took part in the "Good Friday" march in the occupied al Quds.

Israeli troops erected dozens of roadblocks in the vicinity of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, disrupting the flow and number of people able to reach the church for Good Friday services.

Palestinians considered Israel's restrictions on reaching the Church of the Holy Sepulcher for Holy Week and Easter as part of the current Israeli government's policy of making Jerusalem an exclusively Jewish city.

As many as 7,000 Egyptian Coptic people arrived in the al Quds last week to mark the passion week in the holy city.

The Good Friday is a Christian religious holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary according to Christian beliefs. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday, or Easter Friday.
