Ramallah - Arab Today
More than 80 Jewish settlers stormed the holy Mosque of Al Aqsa Wednesday amid tight security measures by Israeli police.
The settlers performed Talmudic rituals and prayers and had provocative tours at the halls of the mosque, WAFA news agency said.
Many worshippers are staying inside the mosque to defend it against any plots by Jewish organizations on the Yom Kippur.
Palestinian police, meanwhile, said in a statement Wednesday that they had dismantled a suspicious object in Sannour town in southern Jenin.
