The UAE agreed with Egypt to carry out a group of infrastructure projects in vital sectors including the energy, housing, food security, education, vocational training, healthcare and transport, UAE State Minister Sultan al Jaber said.
Addressing the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) on Saturday, Jaber said those vital sectors were chosen so the Egyptian citizen can feel tangible change as soon as possible.
The projects will provide 900,000 permanent and temporary job opportunities and would serve up to 10 million Egyptian citizens, he said.
