Dutch Ambassador here Gerard Steeghs on Tuesday asserted that Dutch businessmen are seeking to operate in Egypt and pump more investments into the Egyptian market in the infrastructure domain.

In press statements, he added that major companies from his country have participated in the digging of the New Suez Canal at investments hitting 1.5 billion dollars.

Arrangements are underway for a visit by an Egyptian delegation to the Netherlands that is aimed at discussing joint cooperation.
