"Future" bloc member Deputy Khaled Zahraman said that the nomination of Deputy Tammam Salam was a Lebanese choice blessed by the Saudi Kingdom. "It is incorrect to say that we have moved from the Syrian tutelage to the Saudi custody," the MP asserted. "Lebanon is known by its consultations and meetings to nominate a Prime Minister in a democratic manner and not by force of arms," the MP told 'Future TV' on Friday. He added that Salam was March 14's choice and no doubt Deputy Walid Jumblatt played a role to provide the sufficient number of votes to nominate him. Zahraman stressed that his team would seek to form a neutral Cabinet to run the elections and end the crisis, stressing the need to hold the elections on time or just postponing it for a short period of time due to technical reasons.
