UN Syria envoy Staffan de Mistura met separately on Friday with two delegations of the Syrian government and the High Negotiations Committee, Syria's main opposition body.

The meetings aimed at discussing the political situation and transition in Syria in line with the three items declared by the envoy on the governance, the new constitution and the elections.
