Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Umm Al Qaiwain, today launched the Attestations Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Umm Al Qaiwain, with the aim of facilitating and processing all types of enquiries, services and attestations offered by the ministry.
The launch was attended by Mohammed Mir Al Raisi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Nasser Saeed Al Talay, Director of Amiri Court in Umm Al Qaiwain; Saeed bin Nasser Al Talay, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Umm Al Qaiwain; Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Umm Al Qaiwain; Humaid Mohammed bin Salim, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Yasser Al Shumaili, Director of the Consular Services Department at the Ministry; Rashid Al Dhaheri, Director of the Citizens’ Affairs Department; Mohammed Al Qattam, Director of the Foreigners’ Affairs Department; Mariam Al Falasi, Director of the Communication Department at the Ministry; Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Umm Al Qaiwain Chamber, as well as members of the board of directors of the chamber, and directors of local institutions.
After cutting the ceremonial ribbon, Sheikh Ahmed and the attendees viewed the services provided by the Attestations Office, including various types of attestations services, and he listened to a detailed explanation from Yasser Al Shumaili about the work of the office.
Al Raisi explained that the launch of the Attestations Office is part of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, to provide the ministry’s services to citizens and residents, facilitate the procedures of all types of attentions, and decrease the burden on community members.
Sheikh Ahmed praised the strategy of the ministry led by Sheikh Abdullah to apply the highest standards of quality and achieve exceptional performance in the services and procedures offered by the government.
Sheikh Ahmed signed the first attestation completed by the office, which included a medical certificate from the United Kingdom.
Saeed Al Talay highlighted the chamber’s desire to co-operate with all local and federal organisations and institutions, to strengthen the integration of offering, facilitating and completing all forms of enquiries and services for customers, whether citizens, residents or institutions.
The Attestation Office offers many services for customers and auditors, with the aim of facilitating and completing all their enquiries, services and attestations.
