Dr. Yousif Isa Al Sabri, the UAE Ambassador to Poland, met Tadeusz Koscinski, Poland’s Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Development, to discuss prospects for economic, trade and investment co-operation.
Al Sabri affirmed the UAE’s keenness to bolster co-operation with Poland in economic fields, citing the efforts being made by the UAE Embassy in Warsaw to revitalise co-operation.
He stressed the importance of Poland’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which would promote Poland’s standing in the UAE and also in the region.
Koscinski said that the Polish government is interested in boosting co-operation with the UAE in various economic fields and attracting UAE investments to the Polish market, particularly for mega projects in infrastructure, energy, banking technology and innovation.
He termed the UAE as an important trading partner and a gateway not only to the Middle East, but also to Africa and Asia.
Poland is seriously mulling the idea of participating in the Dubai Expo as it is an important platform for expanding the country’s presence in the region, he added.
