According to a statement by Tunisian news agency (TAP), spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic Ridha Bouguezzi said that the security situation is improving noticeably.
But, he specified, the requirements of security and military action, notably with regard to fight against terrorism, impose extension of the state of emergency.
On November 24, 2015, a state of emergency was declared for one month following the terrorist attack against a presidential guard bus, resulting in several deaths and injuries.
