Suez - Arab Today
Trucks coming from Sokhna and Adabieh ports were banned on Saturday from entering the city of Suez.
According to Head of the Traffic Department in Suez Brigadier General Mohamed el Dafrawi, the decision was taken to maintain smooth traffic on the way to the canal city.
The trucks going into the city should take the Al Mahajer (Quarries) Road which is totally secured and paved for trucks, he said.
Only trucks moving supplies and petroleum are allowed to pass to Port Tawfiq, he said.
