Suspects arrested for selling stolen cars

The Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Director General said a number of suspects were arrested, in coordination with the Interpol in a GCC country, for selling cars stolen from other countries after falsifying their ownership licences in other GCC countries.
The directorate acted upon receiving information about a car stolen from another country. The car was found alongside other ones suspected of being stolen from the GCC countries. It has been found out that the culprits were selling the stolen cars in an Arab country after falsifying their ownership licences.
The Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Director General said legal procedures are being finalised to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
