Eighteen people were killed in a suicide attack targeting a funeral south of the Iraqi capital on Sunday. A police source told KUNA the suicide bomber detonated the explosives at the funeral in Al-Taama area in Al-Dorah. The source said that the attack resulted in killing 18 people and injuring 32 others, adding that the preliminary estimates suggests that the number of casualties might increase. The attack comes 24 hours after a similar attack targeting another funeral in Al-Sadr city, east of Baghdad, resulting in killing more than 70 people.
