Sudanese First Vice President and Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh has hailed the great role played by Qatari charities in achieving development stability in his country.
This came during his visit to the surgical treatment camp for cardiac operations for children organized by Qatari charitable organizations to conduct an open heart surgery and free catheterization in Sudan.
Qatari charities have presented a successful model in all areas where they have worked," Bakri said in a statement. "The credibility of Qataris had shown the country's seriousness to push social development to greater heights." During his visit to the therapeutic camp, the Sudanese Prime Minister met with a visiting medical delegation organized by Sheikh Eid Charity Foundation and Hamad Medical Corporation in partnership with the Sickness Fund in Sudan.
For his part, Sudan's Minister of Health Bahr Idris Abu Qarda said that the Qatari charities have contributed to the localization of treatment in his country, pointing out that the operations were characterized as complex and had a high success rate.
