The Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered on Wednesday remanding in custody for four days the State Council's Procurement General Manager, Gamal Eddin Mohamed el Labban, and two other suspects over bribery charges.
El Labban is accused of getting a backhander from the two other suspects for influence peddling.
About EGP 24 million, four million dollars, two million euros and one million Saudi Riyals were seized at el Labban's house alongside a large amount of gold objects and gifts.
Investigations are still underway in the case.
