The Shura Council, upper chamber of parliament, said while it supports peaceful protests, it rejects blocking roads in Tahrir Square and preventing civil servants from leaving their workplaces. During a meeting Sunday, the council\'s Arab, foreign and national security committee called for revisiting the present thuggery law to enforce it in compliance with the new constitution. It urged the mass media not to circulate fake news that would only jeopardize national security. There are plots to drag police bodies into clashes in the street to pull the country down into a deep dark tunnel, it warned.
