Six people were injured on Thursday after a shell from inside the Syrian territories slammed into a house in Jordan's border city of Ramtha, Petra news agency reported.

The shell hit the house following clashes between warring parties on the other side of the border with Syria, an official source said.

The wounded people were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, the source added.
