A Saudi solider was killed on Saturday after some Houthi militants opened fire at a checkpoint on Jazan borders.  

 The Saudi Interior Ministry's spokesman said the security checkpoint in the Jazan province was heavily attacked by Houthi gunmen, Saudi Interior adding that the Saudi forces controlled the situation there. 
There was an exchange of fire between the two sides in which Hashim Mohammed Al Barakati was killed, he said.
