The Saudi Cabinet hoped success for the efforts of the GCC States' leaders at the 33rd Summit of the Supreme Council scheduled in Bahrain later today to achieve more accomplishments that deepen the Council's successful march, praising the roles of the Council in the enhancement of cohesion and solidarity between its states, governments and peoples, reported the Saudi official news agency (SPA) In its meeting today under Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, the cabinet welcomed the results of the meetings of the 98th session of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting (OAPEC), which was held in Cairo, valuing the role of the organization to promote cooperation among Arab oil producing and exporting countries and to achieve the best ways to develop their oil industries, and establish joint ventures. Regarding international issues, the Saudi cabinet praised the statements issued by most member states of the Security Council in which they announced their condemnation of the decisions of the Israeli occupation authorities on construction of settlements in Jerusalem and the occupied Palestinian territories, calling on the Security Council to stand firmly to prevent the occupation authorities from the implementation of those projects which would hinder the entire peace process.
