Cairo - MENA
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry advised on Monday all Egyptians seeking to enter Saudi Arabia to be aware of the new visa requirements set by the kingdom. A fingerprint and a photograph are now a necessity to get a visa to Saudi Arabia, Ragai Nasr, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs, said, adding that the Saudi Embassy here informed the Egyptian ministry of the new entry changes. He said the Saudi Foreign Ministry made a contract with TasHeel company to take these biometric information from all visa applicants, noting that no other passports except for umrah, hajj and work, will be accepted by the Saudi embassy unless through this company.
