Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, today hailed the outstanding success of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition & Conference 2017 (BIDEC), stressing that the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa contributed to the success of the event.

The Public Security Chief praising keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to visit the event and be updated on the latest security and defence technologies.

He also lauded the tremendous efforts of the Royal Guard Commander and Chairperson of the BIDEC Organizing Committee, HH Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which attracted leading global companies in defence and security industry.

He attached great importance to the high-level security and stability witnessed by Bahrain, which qualifies it to hold international events.
