The Saudi Arabia-led Arab coalition forces intercepted on Monday a rocket that was fired from the Yemeni territories targeting Jizan city in southern the kingdom.

In a statement, the Saudi air forces said they destroyed the launching pad of the rocket.

The kingdom has been leading since March an Arab coalition to boost Yemeni legitimacy and drive out Houthis and pro-Saleh forces from positions they held earlier.
