PLO Executive Committee member and Head of the Department for Jerusalem Affairs Ahmed Qurei stressed the importance of joint Jordanian- Palestinian-Arab cooperation and coordination to face Israeli judaization schemes as well as settlements in occupied Jerusalem.

Qurei said in a press statement on Sunday that coordination between the Jordanian and Palestinian leaderships as well as Jordan’s role in protecting the Islamic and Christian holy sites enabled the Jerusalemites to force the Israeli occupation forces to rescind their measures at Al Aqsa Mosque.

He also stressed the importance of continued cooperation and coordination with Jordan which is doing its utmost and support the Jerusalemites in preserving their city as well as Al Aqsa Mosque.
