The 5th joint Qatari- Saudi coordination council was held today at Al Salam Palace and co-chaired by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani and HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The meeting was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. From the Saudi side, it was attended by a number of Their Highnesses Princes and Their Excellencies ministers.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and means of boosting them in various fields for the benefit of both countries and their brotherly peoples, especially in the political, security, economic, investment fields and others.
The Council also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, especially the latest developments in the region. It also exchanged views on all that could achieve stability and security in the region.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior witnessed the signing of the third executive program in the field of education between the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar and an agreement on air transport services between the governments of the two countries.
Then, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani and HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud signed the minutes of 5th joint Qatari- Saudi coordination council.
Earlier, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior held bilateral meeting.
