The Assad regime forces fired surface-to-surface missiles at districts in the Old City of Homs on Monday, causing many apartment buildings to collapse, Aljazeera channel reported. Also, Houla town in Syria's restive province Homs came under heavy artillery shelling today. Meanwhile, the Syrian Network for Human Rights said 122 people were killed by pro-Assad forces on Sunday, mostly in Damscus and Rif Dimashq. According to the UN estimates, thousands of people were dead and wounded since the pro-democracy uprising flared up in Syria two years ago.
