Prime Minister Sherif Ismail issued a decision on Monday, appointing Egypt's representatives to the Arab International Bank.
Six names, including ex-president of the Central Bank of Egypt Hisham Ramez, were to serve in the board of the bank for the coming three years.
Ramez is also nominated to head the bank's board.
The bank is an investment bank headquartered in Cairo which operates outside the jurisdiction of the Central Bank of Egypt. It conducts business through a network of 7 branches in Cairo, Alexandria and Port Said.
The bank’s shareholders include the states of Egypt (39%) and Libya (39%) and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (13%).
